Tongue & Groove
Solid timber boards are laid in the traditional interlocked
tongue and groove method then nailed to the subfloor.
Two styles of nailing can be used; the first (and traditional
method) is top nail, where the nail heads are visible in the boards.
We also use the secret nail technique. No nails are visible after
the floor is laid. Both methods are suited to different types of
timber and board widths.
